First attempt or fourth, the exam is hard and a lot of capable techs don't pass it the first time. Our 12-week intensive covers the full content outline — safety, instrumentation, lab math, fixation, processing, staining, IHC, molecular techniques, lab operations and cytopreparation — with study guides, workbooks and practice questions written the way the exam asks them.

ASCP's Route 2 requires a year of full-time experience in a histopathology laboratory, and finding a lab willing to take you is the hardest step in the whole process. We're a working histology lab. Talk to us about completing and documenting that year.
